October 21 2015 Is Back To The Future Day

For those of you who have seen the iconic film Back to the Future you probably know that October 21, 2015 is the year that Marty McFly and Doctor Emmett Brown traveled into the future.

All of the Back to the Future fans out there are celebrating this day all over the world and you can too!

This is an epic day for me since Back to the Future is my all-time favorite trilogy. I’ll be taking off work, watching all the movies, attempt to purchase a Pepsi Perfect, and see what the crew has to say on the Today Show. If anyone has a delorean that has an empty passenger seat, feel free to contact me.

Ride on a hoverboard: Hendo and Lexus hoverboards recently went viral but they are not available for purchase so I guess you can’t ride a hoverboard but you can watch someone else ride one.

Take a vacation and visit Hill Valley: A Washington, D.C. suburb in Reston, Virginia has no affiliation with Back to the Future but it will bring in visitors because fans will find themselves in Marty McFly’s hometown of Hill Valley.

Watch the Cubs in the playoffs: In Back to the Future Part II, the Chicago Cubs win the 2015 World Series. Oddly enough, the Cubbies are facing off against the Mets that will determine who goes to the top.

Travel back in time: Well, we don’t have time machines yet but you can take yourself into a historic mindset by listening to “Power of Love” by Huey Lewis and the News over and over again until you trick your mind into thinking that you have actually taken yourself back to 1985.

For your viewing pleasure I have included a video below that goes over 9 things that you didn’t know about Back to the Future.
